Born in Cleveland, Ohio, I hold a degree in journalism from Bowling Green State University where I was issue editor & advertising manager for the school newspaper and news correspondent/historian for my sorority. I moved to Florida in 1970 and have lived in the Greater Orlando area for twenty-nine years. My background includes a diversity of professions: Market Research Investigator for Procter & Gamble; eight years in the travel industry; Sales Administration Manager for a computer technology firm; Editor and Publisher for a local shopping magazine; and finally, for the last eighteen years, a Relocation/Corporate Property Specialist for Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate in Longwood, Florida. However, my lifelong dream has finally come true. The manuscript for my first novel, "Castles in the Sandbox" is in its final draft stage and should be ready to submit for publishing by the end of the year. A contemporary romance of approximately 120,000 words, "Castles" has twenty-eight chapters, a prologue and epilogue. This is a heartrending story of a man and a woman who have known each other in spirit since they were small children. Through a tangled web of events chronicling an entire century, their paths finally cross. But was it too late for them to begin a life together just as they had always dreamed? Sprinkled with history, nostalgia, pathos, passion, inspiration and musical memories of the past, "Castles in the Sandbox" is guaranteed to be a page-turner, appealing to anyone over thirty, primarily women. In my spare time, I've been hard at work on my second novel . . . a mystery with a hint of romance entitled, "The Vanishing of Emily St. John."

Interests: Reading & writing are my primary interests. I also enjoy ancestry research, the theatre, travel, cooking, backyard birdwatching, collecting mockingbird items (figurines, plates, etc.), writing reviews for Amazon.com and pampering my Bichon Frise.
