| The book reveals never before seen vintage photographs. It features photos of famous
people, buildings, landmarks, etc., and features photos from private collections, rarely
seen locally, of landmarks, events, and people.
There have been few books written about the "mythical" State of Jefferson. Secession
was attempted by Oregonians and Californians in a joint effort. Today the struggle for
recognition continues, even if only as a marketing strategy and effort to 'differentiate'
itself from the rest of CA and OR.
The area is a wildlife and outdoors’ paradise and home to some of the last Wild Rivers,
wilderness, and wonderful rural areas.
