| This is an excerpt from THE KING'S GHOST, a mystery novel set in ancient Egypt. TKG is the second book in a series aimed primarily at young adults, but certainly appropriate for older readers as well. Egypt's Third Dynasty was a fascinating historical period. The series is set before the construction of the pyramids, when they were but a spark in the mind of the most famous architect of all time, Imhotep.
