The book tackles the issue of bullying in schools and what happens when teachers become apathetic towards it. It looks at teenage suicide and the affect this has on the life of those around the suicide victim from friends and family right down to the very ones that drove the person to take their life. Change of Direction is about the decisions we face each day how the outcome of these can change the shape of our lives and those around us and if we chose differently how would it have turned out?
