Yemenis are preparing to celebrate the arrival of the first swarms of locusts from Saudi Arabia by bringing them to their dinner tables.
Men, women and children are geared up to greet the large swarms with songs and poetry before scooping them up. A report in the Arabic daily Al Etihad said the process of gathering locusts can take hours and may continue overnight.
