| The dramatical circular story in this novel starts from a family. A family af a couple, named Karyo Petir and Daloh. They has granted two children, named Gora and Dagu. When Gora and Dagu was in childhood time, a mysterious boy outside of their relation and life came to their home. Kulung was his name. That illigitimate child form the secret affair of Karyo Petir with Wasti. Karyo Petir started his intimate affair when Dalloh was in her first child pregnancy.
The presence of Kulung brought a big change in their home. After knowing about her husband secret and dark affair, Daloh took her way to give her counterattack with an affair too. She knitted the secret relationship with Jarot, the foreman of sugarcane field. Uncoincidence and unpredictable, nobody knew if Jarot was none other than the blood enemy of Karyo Petir in competitive fighting cocks. One day, Jarot Foreman lost his breath mysteriously and the death was always related to Karyo Petir since Karyo petir had been lost by Jarot Foreman in competitive fighting, cock, some days ago.
Although both of their parents involved in a conflict secretly, Gora and Dagu didn’t know anything about the origin of Kulung, a boy who involved and became the parts of their family just a while ago. Gora and Dagu just heard about the rumor which their mother created, and the rumor form their maid. Those rumors never told that Kulung was Karyo Petir’s son from other woman, instead their mother. For two years, Kulung lived together with that family, but he never got any reaction and they always behaved as if Kulung was a piece of rubbish. At last, Kulung took his own way and ran away from that hell house.
Kulung came back, exactly in the death time of Genuk, one of maids in Karyo Petir’s house, instead of Kerapu and Aunt Kasemi. As time went away, Gora had grown up and became a beautiful lady. Gora who had sympathy for Kulung since her childhood, nowadays, buried the diffrent feeling in the bottom of her heart; love. And they knitted a relationship between each other. Gora really loved Kulung so much, but outside of as far as Gora knows, Kulung created relationship with Gora, just because the unfinished vengeance which Gora wanted to counter. If Karyo Petir could slept with my mother, I also coud do it. That was the revengen of Kulung for Karyo Petir, his same-blood father.
The pieces of story were excerpted as the rotary-motion of reality which happened in Sangir Village. The betrayals grown and spread widely as the growing Sangir Village to the “Developing” motion, which was unpredictable before. Until one day, Karyo Petir died suddenly, Dagu was kidnapped, and outside of those bad reality, the outburst kept happening, hurly-burly, demonstration, and the secret murderer for 150 labours of sugarcane field.
At last, Dalloh also died because of loneliness. Not only because of the death of her husband, she started closing her personality and her presence since Dagu, her son was hang in the centre of Village yard. Purportedly, on that time, Dagu with his friends, the activitist same with himself incessantly protested the bussinessman of commercial agricultural enterprises who wanted to step aside the native Sangir Village inhabitant. Easily, Dagu was ‘caught’ because of Kulung;s betrayal. Who still alived in that house was only Aunt Kasemi, and Gora decided to leave Sangir Villange and lived with her relation. She already knew that her love, Kulung is her brother ( same father, but different mother).
