I wrote this book to pass along the various things I’ve learned while living here in Las Vegas for the past twenty-seven years. In that time, I spent a couple of years dealing Poker, ten years paid to play various slot machines throughout Nevada, five years driving the city bus, another five years driving and acting as a Guide on a Tour Bus, and almost six years driving a taxi.
During that time, I encountered lots of people with all sorts of misconceptions and false ideas about the city - and gambling in general. I’ve also seen a plethora of books written by so-called “experts” who try to tell people that they “know the secrets” to help them “beat the house” and get rich.
The simple truth is this … they don’t build all these multi-billion dollar resorts by giving their money away! YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BEAT THE HOUSE!
This book explodes a lot of myths, tells what Las Vegas is really like, explains, in simple terms, what Games of Chance are and how they work, and, most important of all, how to get the biggest bang for your buck while you are here.
