| Come out of the cold, into the warm…
Dean Chapman has always had a thing for April Reid ‘the girl next door’, the woman he’s never had. What he doesn’t know is that while he made puppy dog eyes at her, her younger brother, Jay, spent his time looking at him the same way.
Now, years later, he considers the two Reid siblings as close friends, nothing more than that. Little does he know Jay is still in love with him, always has been, always will be, but he’s about to find out. When he does it not only throws his sexuality into question, it shines an ugly light in his direction.
Reacting as he often does, on impulse, he’s about to make an understandable but life-altering mistake… and then he makes another one.
Dean has to take a long look at himself and he’s not sure he likes what he sees. He can’t remember being this arrogant, an egomaniac, not to mention a control freak, and that’s only a few of the nicer things April Reid has taken to calling him in defense of her brother. Can he change? Does he want to? Does he even need to or is it really just a question of making the right choice?
It’s winter and snow is falling but he doesn’t yet know which of them might yet be left out in the cold.
Dean likes women but not nearly as much as he likes himself. His friend, Jay, likes him more but if he’s not careful he might lose the one person who can take him just as he is, ego included!

This story is an emotional roller coaster, and more for the reader than the characters themselves. I'm still not sure whether I like this story more than I dislike it. However, I do know that it inspires me to debate with others who've also read it, and will remember SNOW ANGEL long after I've forgotten most other stories. And that is a mark of true originality. In a word? Unique. Undoubtedly a word you have heard before, but let me tell you this word fits Snow Angel to a T. Going in, I didn’t know what to expect, but I can say this: I wasn’t expecting what I got. These characters are very strongly developed, Dean being the most dominant – both in development and in personality. He really stands out. At times, I guarantee you will hate this character, but in turns be fascinated, intrigued and inclined towards him. He is the type to inspire strong and mixed feelings, though whether you like him will be up to your own tastes. ... You may find yourself out of your personal comfort zone in a myriad of different ways, but I have found Snow Angel to be well worth the read. These characters are unlike any in my memory, brilliantly portrayed and fabulously enacted, personality and emotions both. (JERR)

Yes, Dean is not a very nice guy as you see him play with Jay's emotions and I did want to slap him a time or two :o) but I also understood where he was coming from and he more than made up for it at the end... I've been wanting to tell you I recently read Snow Angel and absolutely loved it! Thank you, thank you, thank you for showing the emotions between these two characters. It was almost refreshing...to "feel" the connection between them. I've read some other stories recently and although they were good, the emotional connection was missing, which is a let down for me. I gave this story 5 stars out of 5 (in my own personal ratings system), I was so impressed! Any chance you plan on revisiting them again in the future?"
