Respect Mother Earth After last weeks storms and floods that caused much havoc throughout Spain, and especially the region we live, andalucia, I can not help but think that with all the knowledge and progression we have, the ultimate leader of our human nature is in fact Mother Earth herself. Mother Earth is made up of the elements, earth, wind, water, air and spirit. The five sacred elements. Unfortunately we as a human race are not respecting her or her elements. We can either follow the same pattern that caused the Ancient civilization of Atlantis and Mu to fall below the waters of the Atlantic or we can help to raise the awareness and help to save the lives of many people here on earth. Now you may ask, If mother nature is in control, what can we possibly do? Well firstly we can show respect. We can learn much from the other inhabitants that also walk this earth. We can look to the Amazon Rain forests, and salvage their existance instead of destroying them for rich mans greed. We can prevent further goldmines tearing into the planet and taking a way mother earths core that helps to create the balance within her structure. We can learn to work with the earth, in a way it may seem we are going backwards to more primative understandings, but that is the only way forward. As we think we are progressing forward with new inventions, we are actually going backwards creating more imbalance, pollution and destruction of the planet. Mother earth only has to show her strengths, the elements in force. Excessive rain and we are brought to a standstill. Homes and businesses are flooded, crops destroyed. The high temperatures also cause problems for all of us. Wind in the form of hurricanes causes mass destruction, as so too volcanic eruptions and earthquakes. I feel we as a human race need to start showing some resperct to the planet, otherwise we will destroy it. It has already been recognised within governments that the Arctic circle is melting at a high velocity and will cause major flooding in the northern hemisfere. Now it has been warned,,, but what is actually happening? America, together with the rest of the world, needs to wake up and listen. Stop drilling for oil in the Antartica and arctic circles, stop the excessive neuclear programmes. It is not only the east that makes bombs. The west does use neuclear power and arms. I feel there is a trend towards the 60s and 70s feel. More people are becoming dissatisfied with the way the world is progressing. More people are standing up and protesting against their govenments. If a government wants to maintain its power, it needs to listen to the people. More marches and demonstrations are taking place similar to the CND movements of the 70s... perhaps john lennons song, give peace a chance will be re released or remixed. The youth of today are wanting to re connect to that which is sacred. That which is universal . In order to connect to the earth we have to connect to our own truth, to ourselves and demonstrate what we believe. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
