| Under cover officer Stan Boyko, relocated to Winnipeg after his cover is blown in Vancouver, thinks a new assignment in his home town will mean time to recoup. But Stan soon finds himself working the meaner streets of the city, exposing a mess of lies and dirty dealings at a national forensic lab.
Meanwhile, Sonja Sepsik is smuggled out of Ukraine into Hungary and discovers her brother has plans for her other than a family reunion. Sold into a prostitution ring in Winnipeg, Sonja must find a way out before it’s too late.
A chance meeting between Sonja and Stan gives the under cover officer a direct pipeline into the illegal activity, and gives Sonja the hope of escaping life on the streets.
