Right Intention in Writing

This article implores writers to examine their intentions behind their writing, and to make sure they are writing with the right intention. Some of us write purely to be published; this is one particular intention that demands a specific form and substance of art. Some of us (me included) write because we must; it's what we do, it's who we are, it allows us to breathe and live. This intention is quite different than that of publication, and we must be certain not to enervate our content with anxiety over our form.
