i was going home and listening to my songs
when i heard those words
" What you give.. you get back"
thinking of them..
silently..
watching the river quietly
flowing through the night
whispering to me through my sight
what you give you get back
giving to others
and sharing your mind
your heart
and your dreams..
you do get something back
a smile
a laugh
or even a touch of a hand
its all just in the grip of your hand
its the smile of life in the vast land..
its the flying within the skies
and hiding within the clouds..
the smiling through the eyes
and the whispering of the hearts..
i can't seem to be amazed
by all of what got to gaze
at very simple
yet touching things
a rose
or a child
or even a ring..
the river infront of me
kept me wondering with those words
what it gives
it gets back..
it gives life
it gives love..
it gives the shores..
for the lost souls..
its the warmth of the sun
that covers us
closing my eyes
as i continue the song
" What you give you get back..take my love...cause this love is all i have.. take my love take my life.."..
i smile..
i sleep..
i go into the valley of dream
which is so deep
i turn around
and see myself..
as i whisper to my soul before i go..
" What you give.. you get back"
its all about to begin
when you think its about to end..
