| Songsmith was my second collaboration with Andre Norton. We decided we'd like to do a "Witch World: Next Generation" novel, and decided to use the character of the "songsmith" Eydryth, that we'd created to give the summary of events for Gryphon's Eyrie to showcase events some 20 years later in the Witch World.
Writing this book allowed me to write a lot of stuff about horses, one of my favorite things to do.
