CHAINS OF SADNESS So here I am again

Back to the world of nothingness

I thought I had lost

Back to the source of

My pain, hurt and feeling of being alone

For once I had thought

my pain and sadness was gone

that I was finally free

free to be happy and to live

free from the chains that held me back

but I was wrong

the chains of my most painful memories can never be removed

nor forgotten

forever will I carry the memories

like a weight chained to my soul

holding me down

suffocating me

not letting me be free

not letting me live

my face shows a smile

but my eyes tell the truth

the tell the story of my dark past

the icy blue represents

the tears im crying inside

the cold and sadness I feel

my eyes unlock the broken soul

trying to break free from the chains

the chains that i am forever bound to
