Circled by foe, and compassed about,
The leading masses so tossed with doubt. To bring the rest to shame of war, with whom our stand, they do abhor. Engulfed in thought, and intent of heart, does leave us both a world apart. So given to fear and lie so taught, do give their lives in exchange for naught.
