Laylek’s Song is a celebration of the beauty and energy that can be found in the world around us. Laylek is a spirit who has been cut off from its own identity. After wandering indefinitely in darkness, the spirit emerges into a world in which a great stream of energy, caled "loya," flows through all things. Laylek can hear the echoes of loya as songs resounding in the living beings it meets; however, the spirit also senses a growing disharmony in the world that is causing a rift between loya and the land's inhabitants. Laylek meets Kutalma, an ancient wise woman who teaches the spirit how to sing to the beings it encounters. Kutalma teaches Laylek several sacred songs, and sends the spirit on a quest to seek the remaining songs in hope of restoring harmony to loya and in doing so, find its own lost identity.
