Jimmy and Janice Reid are typical Americans from Heartland USA. After serving in Viet Nam as an U.S. Air Force intelligence officer, Jimmy came home to start a machine-tool sales and set-up business. When he was called upon by the FBI to assist in the investigation of a Japanese manufacturer, with whom he had been doing business, Jimmy and Janice were glad to offer their assistance to the U.S. Government. They had no idea that their own government would repay them by pulling them into illegal gun-running and munitions manufacturing.
Finding themselves unable to withdraw from their involvement in the illegal activities without risk of losing their lives, Jimmy and Janice are unwittingly pulled further into drug running operations of the CIA and corrupt elements of other federal law enforcement agencies. When their usefulness comes to an end, they realize too late, that the very people they have been assisting have set them up to take the fall for the drug-running...... And to be murdered before they can tell their story. |
