Mark Kelley is a veteran of more than 20 years as a professional journalist. He earned a Ph.D. from Syracuse University and now serves as Director of Journalism at the New England School of Communications in Bangor, ME. He is the author of three books: Rain of Ruin: The stirring account of a young woman's life as a clerk for the Top Secret Manhattan Project (2011), Engaging News Media (2006), and Berman's Lament (2000). He currently lives in Orono, ME with his wife, Marty. They are currently fantasizing about walking all of U.S. 1 from Fort Kent, ME to Key West, FL (probably a little at a time :-)
