Moscow, Russian Federation
I was born in England in a nondescript northern town, I had a profoundly troubled youth, a wilderness decade after that, then went and read English at Leeds University. I followed that with a teaching diploma and moved to Moscow Russia where I did the tefl thing. That evolved into a flux of teaching, editing, translating, copy writing and therapy.
I write daily for money, but nothing that any sane person would read: Analysis of Russian oil majors, reports on fixed income bond markets, PR for Dutch and Austrian banks. On my visa it says Language Consultant, in my heart is says language whore.
I have two children, I am 47, I smoke too much.
I have written creatively for many years, and wish to give more of myself to that than to the likely capital expenditure of Gazprom in the coming financial quarter
