Julie Wheeler

Littleton, Colorado, United States

Though her first published work, The Keys to Success Reader (Prentice Hall, 1999), focused on student success and career
development, Julie Wheeler's primary interests in writing and editing lie elsewhere. In what can only be described as a metamorphosis,
she began writing about the Internet, specifically the domain name system. She is currently senior editor for Boardwatch Magazine,
a business-to-business publication for Internet service providers. She writes a monthly column for that magazine called "The Domain
Sector" that focuses on developments within the DNS industry and ICANN, the worldwide organization that manages it. However,
even after submitting to the uncontrollable draw into the world of the geek, she has managed to keep her head on her shoulders and
she also enjoys writing and editing fiction and nonfiction in other areas.
