I am a young man living in South Africa. As a child I was a complete bookworm. There was not much for to say to other children as we were on different levels, in different worlds. Through books I could enter other worlds, worlds often rich and exciting. Later, books became a source of knowledge for me, teaching me secrets of life.
I love writing as much as reading. I am basically appalled by the state of modern writing. Publishers seem to only accept works that fit the standard stereotypes, after you have read 10 pages you need not bother finishing it as you know what will happen. A waste of paper. Writing is supposed to be an art, with the writer either trying to say something or trying to entertain his reader, and ideally both. It is from this perspective that I write.
A study of life has shown me the fundamental characteristics of the substance behind it. Drawing on this enables me to make the work interesting reading for most people, with a unique angle. And always humourous!
Try out my first book and see what I mean.

I regularly post writings on my website's blog: http://www.freethought.co.za/
