Bryson City, North Carolina, United States
Margaret Marr was born in the late 60’s during the Vietnam era. She grew up in the hills of western North Carolina where the old folks loved to sit out on the porch late at night, or around the kitchen table, telling ghost stories to wide-eyed children. The paranormal has been at the top of her curiosity list ever since.
Margaret’s family was the only one to spend an entire year in a house other people wouldn’t spend a night. The house was rumored to have been built on a bloody Civil War battlefield, and the ghosts of former slaves and soldiers still haunt the area.
Ms. Marr’s publishing credits include many short stories and poems along with several novels. NovelBooks, Inc. released MOON OF LITTLE WINTER in August 2002. Treble Heart Books released BETWEEN EARTH AND ETERNITY in February 2003 (both titles are out of print). Anthologies: “Angel” in LET US NOT FORGET a tribute to 20th century American veterans; “Oh, The Noise” in CRUMBS IN THE KEYBOARD; “Stop Wishing Your Life Away” in FORGET ME KNOTS FROM THE FRONT PORCH; and “Take it and Fly” in ROMANCING THE SOUL.
When Margaret’s not at the computer, she spends time in the great outdoors exploring until her heart’s content. Someday she hopes to travel the United States, visit haunted places, and castles in foreign lands. She lives with her two sons, Benjamin and Joshua, two dogs, and three spoiled cats. And the best part is, she’s living her own fairy tale romance with an American soldier who is away fighting for our safety and freedom.
