Gerard Marconi earned a master’s degree in Drama from Catholic University and spent over thirty years teaching at the college level. His one-act play entitled “Rapture” was given a public reading in 2012 by the Baltimore Playwrights Festival. He also holds a master's degree in Humanities from Johns Hopkins University and has studied fiction writing with such well known authors as Lee K. Abbott, Roxana Robinson, Jennifer Haigh, and T. Greenwood. His short stories have appeared in The Chattahoochee Review, The Summerset Review, and Mayday magazine, among others. His novel “Gods and Heroes” is about growing up in Baltimore during the 1960s and his most recent work is a collection of short stories entitled Searching for Paradise.
