Having been born in Qom, I spent my teen years in Karaj, however, since I did not
find the cultural milieu in Tehran quite conducive to my educational development, I
moved to Vancouver, Canada, after graduation from the University of Allameh
Tabatabai. I am currently pegging away at my novel which straddles over 3 decades
of history of a nation that has been dubbed " Rogue " by different US adminstrations.
This novel is an allegory of a collective psyche that has been rent across its
generational cohorts by an 8-year interminable war. The protagonist of my novel
is a war veteran who ends up being jilted by his wife, and a disenchanted daughter
who is inexorably growing apart from the father.
