The book details my various experiences as a young lawyer practing in the South. I am a trial attorney. I love trying a case. Every case represents an adventure for me. In a short amount of time, you become close with someone who you may barely know-- someone who you probably would not have connected with under any other circumstances. Trials are wild, unpredictable, and at times, disheartening experiences. I try to write stories that convey the same feelings as you would experience in a trial. The emotional ups and downs that lead to a conclusion which you may have never expected, but upon reflection, you can almost understand.
I have only been published on one occasion. My younger brother recently passed away after a long bout with mental illness. I have taken an interest in a group, NAMI, which helped my parents and him cope with his disorder. I gave the eulogy at his funeral which was later published in the NAMI newsletter for Charleston. Interests: I am from the Charleston area. I enjoy any hobby which allows me to spend a maximum amount of time on the water.
