I grew up in a suburb of Reading, PA called West Wyomissing. It was also referred to as "Whisky Ditch" because during the prohibition, bootleggers used to make moonshine in the woods. When I was little, I would walk those forests and sometimes find remains of an old still. Unfortunately. suburban sprawl has wiped those forests out, but I will not forget my adventures in the backwoods.
I attended 12 years of Catholic school. Looking back, I realize it was very small medium to grow up in. It was rather restrictive in that you were not encouraged to express yourself and learn outside the box. I did well in school and went to Penn State and majored in accounting. While i work well with numbers, I always enjoyed words and was the editor of the school newspaper.
When I had my first two children, I would tell them stories making them up as I went along and that is when I started writing my novel "Time Castles" The Adventures of Tom Stump. Much of it is based on myself and summer vacations I went on with my family at the shore. I would classify it as a 5th grade Adventure/Fantasy novel of around 30K words in two parts. This is the work I am posting on this sight. I've also written some poetry, and short stories, but "Time Castles" has been my main focus the last couple of years. I hope anyone who reads it gets the enjoyment and maybe passes it along to their children or someone they know. Getting it published would be fantastic, but just sharing it is worth the time I've "played" with it.

Interests: I like to write, of course, play tennis and delve into good fiction. I also have a 1 year old daughter I like to play with and watch her learn.
