Susan Benedetto Goetz, M.Ph., D.Lit. is a mother and step-mother to six children. All six children, one with emotional challenges, are now successful and productive adults. With over 20 years experience as the director of social service agencies, she has seen the decline in the importance of parenting within our society. It is this hidden reality that she has undertaken to expose and labor to change. Dr. Benedetto Goetz most recently successfully launched and ran a social service agency for families who had children with emotional and behavioral disabilities. After ten years as the Executive Director of Family Based Services Association of NJ, she resigned to teach and assist individual families. Prior to that, she served as the Executive Director of an agency created to assist families who had children between the ages of 0-3 with developmental delays find appropriate diagnostician and obtain early intervention services. Other experiences include: Director for a home care and hospice agency, Director for work activities in a sheltered workshop and a chaplain for a hospice agency.
