Julie Grace was born and raised in Northern California. While a single parent with four daughters,she pursued a career in Retail Management and Marketing. She is a now retired and a grandmother of six.
She has received several awards for her poetry from 1989 to present. Her poem, "Light of Truth" was published Fall of 2001 in "The Silence Within" by the International Library of Poetry and is available in bookstores or at www.poetry.com.
In January 2004, she received the Editors Award for outstanding achievement in poetry from the International Library of Poetry and her poetry is also being included in an International collection by Noble House called "Colours of the Heart" due to be released in Spring 2004.
She published her first novel,"Once Upon Another Life" in April 2001 by Xlibris. Her children's book,"Echoes of the Heart" was released in 2004 by Publish America. Her new book, "Visons of Apercu" a compilation of inspirational poetry and insightful writings co-authored with her youngest daughter, Faith, was released Jan.2005 and is available through Publish America.
