Ann L. Wead Kimbrough is a communications and international business professor and veteran, award-winning writer for mainstream media. Ann is a ghost-writer and editor, has written book length manuscripts (no byline) for organizations, writes for an online media source, and is completing her dissertation in international business.
Currently, she is the Little Rock Area Director of Webster University’s Little Rock and Air Force Base campuses. She is a visiting professor, International Business, Arkansas Baptist College. Previously, Ann was Chief of Staff to CEO V. Jones, DeKalb County (GA) Government, the highest ranking female in the agency serving more than 700,000 citizens. Ann was also a management leader in the Atlanta Olympic Games and Fulton County Government; served as a communications professor at Clark Atlanta and Florida A&M universities; was an award-winning financial communicator at the Atlanta Business Chronicle and the Atlanta Journal/Constitution. She has authored and contributed to hundreds of articles and columns in national and local publications. She has appeared as a business expert on many broadcast programs.
Ann is a Doctor of Business Administration candidate at Argosy University. She graduated with honors from Northwestern University (MS) and Clark Atlanta University (BA). She is the mother of three adult children, daughter-in-law, granddaughter and grandson.
