Madame Zee was longlisted for the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, and was a book club pick for Chatelaine, Flare, and CanadianLiving magazines.
Burning Ground was a Globe and Mail notable book of the year. It won the 2001 Commonwealth Prize for Best First Novel in the Canada/Caribbean region and was short-listed for three other awards. In 2000, I was writer-in-residence in Taiwan. Currently I teach advanced writing for DeVry University Online and mentor writers from around the world through my website http://www.Be-a-Better-Writer.com.
Interests: I enjoy traveling and combine writing with travel when possible. Iíve visited numerous parts of the globe and on an extended vacation in Mexico, I fell in love with San Miguel de Allende, which led to me taking a position as instructor at Instituto Tecnol
