After more than twenty years of teaching in the primary school sector, thirteen of those in Asia, I took a research Masters Degree in language development. The passion for writing took over, so I moved into p/t freelance work. I now combine writing and teaching, working as education consultant for publishing companies and schools, and writing articles, educational material and children's fiction in my spare time. I am also developing a website focusing specifically on reviewing children's books that are available in the region, and as a forum for Asia-based writers and illustrators.
