Lane’s plays have been performed at hundreds of theatres from coast to coast in the U.S., as well as in Canada, England, Australia, New Zealand and Venezuela. Her scripts are published with Dramatic Publishing, Eldridge, Playscripts Inc., Pioneer, Smith and Kraus, Heuer, Brooklyn Publishers, Next Stage Press, Manhattan Theatre Source, JAC Publishing, San Luis Obispo Little Theatre, Sterling, Freshwater, Poydras Review, The Quotable, Euphony Journal, Garbanzo Literary Journal, Mock Turtle Zine, Indian Ink, Canyon Voices, Steel Bananas and Scene4. She is the recipient of the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation Residency Grant, the Montgomery County Arts & Cultural District’s Literary Artist Fellowship, the American Alliance for Theatre and Education Play Project Award and winner of over three hundred playwriting contests. Lane has received script commissions from Classika Theatre, Women Playwrights’ Initiative, Human Race Summer Stock Kids, Zoot Theatre Company, CityFolk, and the Mascot Organization. She produces SWAN (Support Women Artists Now) Day Dayton.
