LINDA A. HAYWOOD is a passionate teacher of God's Word. Knowledgeable about Biblical truths, Linda is a Licensed Minister and is the Founder and President of the newly birthed Beyond Condemnation Ministries which is geared towards contributing to the life enhancement and achievement of youths who are at-risk for delinquency, teen pregnancy, homelessness and violence.
As an award-winning writer Linda has had articles written in a number of newsletters, anthologies and received Honorable Mention in Writer's Digest in 2008. In 2007 Linda released her first book, an autobiography entitled, Does God Really Hear Me When I Cry? A Life Transformed. She has been featured in Breathe Again Magazine and is also a contributing writer in the upcoming Chicken Soup for the Soul: Devotionals for Tough Times.
Linda is a member of The Called and Ready Writers and the American Christian Writers, two writing guilds which are both located in Detroit, Michigan and most recently became a member of Hold My Hand While I Write facilitated monthly by Christina Dixon, Founder and President of PriorityONE Publications.
She has spoken at both secular and faith based organizations with candor and openness about her past experiences and how she, herself, has overcome previous struggles which are so prevalent in our communities today. Linda is a Master level Social Work and has certification as a Hospice Chaplain. She has brought compassion and patience in her work with a number of diverse populations which includes survivors of domestic, persons living with HIV/AIDS, the developmentally disabled, the elderly and persons experiencing mental health issues.
Whether within her writing or in her profession as a social worker, Linda can be found teaching and encouraging others to be transformed by the power and love of God and inspiring other and their supports to see that they too can be overcomers and move beyond their circumstances.
