When he was eleven, Graeme wrote his first novel about a rocket trip to the planets. First prize in an essay competition followed, along with art lessons and a passion for reading Science Fiction and just about anything else. With this background, it seemed only logical that when he finished High School he would become a Physics teacher.
For more than thirty years the demands of living submerged his desire to write until early retirement allowed him to realise his life-long ambition.
With several published short stories and prizes to his name, Graeme is now writing the third of four volumes of an Australian saga (as yet unpublished). Future projects include the sequel to THE REFUGE and finishing that stalled 15,000 word manuscript all writers have in their desk drawer.
Graeme is married, with two grown-up sons. He lives in Adelaide, South Australia - the best-kept secret in the world - and as well as reading enjoys golf, good red wines from one of the world's best wine areas, the theatre and classical music.
