After 30+ years of working in broadcasting (pushing buttons and writing words for others to say) I thought it might be time to breakout and write the next great American Novel. I came to this conclusion since my writing skills had brought me minor fame and little fortune with awards from the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters ( Best Public Affairs program for a radio docudrama I wrote) and a Communicator award (Crystal Award for excellence in Broadcasting for a series of vignettes I wrote). With a vita like this, I am sure anyone can understand why I just had to put my fervent imagination to work and pen literary genius. My first attempt, The Committee, was called great by the hundred or so people who read it. But since I am not the marketing mastermind I thought I was, it never made it even close to the NYT best seller list. The books biggest claim to fame is being selected as book of the month by the Ocean City NJ book club (hey, don\'t laugh. Ocean City has very passionate readers who can make or break a book!). The second novel, Overdrawn was just released on 5/22/11. The third of the Jonathan Price series is now in the works.
