Hey - I live in Africa.It's exciting. You don't lock your car - they steal what you leave behind, but don't break in every night. The violence in my Mac Ball series is everyday stuff over here. I grew up throughout sub-Saharan Africa, as was the norm with mining children. Living with lions sniffing the door at night time cured me of any interest in game safaris. I went to 13 schools - now that was adventure I enjoyed. Especially the co-eds. Small towns and smart boarding schools - the full gamut.After school, University, then ran away to Art School. Began in magagzines and drifted over to Advertising until I was too old, then fell into PR. Now I lecture in writing, advertising and marketing. But I want to write full-time.
