After becoming disabled and unable to work in the early 1990s, I spent my time "translating" the Federalist Papers into modern English, using the skills I learned when I studied to become an American Sign Language interpreter. My new edition of The Federalist Papers was published in 1999. (Prior to this, I had three novels and several craft-design articles published.)
I am currently working on an even easier-to-read edition of the Federalist Papers that will be 70% the length of the original without losing any of the substance. (10th grade reading level and appropriate for an audio version.) I am also working on the first and second mystery novels with a series character.
With no marketing help from my current publisher, my new edition of The Federalist Papers has been wonderfully received by students, teachers, and the mass market. (e.g. Two 20-minute radio interviews in Pittsburg sold over 500 books and the first month that it was listed on World Net Daily, February 2001, it sold 506 copies at full price.)
I am looking for an agent to help me to place my newest edition of the Federalist Papers and my future work.
Interests: Federalist Papers, US Constitution, mystery novels, craft designs
