In speaking of myself, I am a 39 year old aspiring and motivated freelance writer/poet in progress. I am also a 2005 hurricane Katrina survivor and a proud mother of a teenage daughter. In my love for writing, I have been actively pursuing a writing career ever since 2005.
In my journey as a writer, I have had the overwhelming pleasure of writing numerous poems, magazine articles, greeting card verses, nine stories that can be converted into books, and much more. The writing that flows as a creativity of words from my heart relates to my personal life, lives of love ones, and just from life in general.
Iíve written on such topics as: life, love, happiness, peace, war, marriage, infidelity, cancer, spirituality, money, and much more. Profiles and opinions of me can be found at www.facebook.com (I also have a fan page listed under writer/poet Donielle Smith, www.twitter.com/donarie_writer, www.myspace.com/d.a.smith, you are, reddit, delicious, digg.com and many others.

Interests: My biggest interest lies in what I do when it comes to my writing and in having the opportunity of sharing my creative gift with the world. I'm a realist when it comes to my truthful expression of words. When I'm not busy with writing, I also enjoy readin
