Iím an exiled Englishman, living in the beautiful Greek mountains, close to the ruins of Ancient Sparta.
Apart from trying to cultivate grapes and olives, I work as a full time freelance writer-editor, producing high quality and fully original work. My work covers a wide array of topics, from postgraduate academic papers, to SEO-optimized articles about portable toilets.
A native Lancastrian, I obtained a degree in Marine Biology, studying in Scotland and Sweden. After graduation, I worked in the building trade and volunteered to work on an RSPB nature reserve. Fortune smiled on me, and I found my dream job at a trout farm in the beautiful Republic of Ireland, just down the road from the Blarney Stone.
I spent two wonderful Guinness-fuelled years, playing Gaelic Football and indulging my passion of drawing. Sadly, redundancy called, so I returned to England, where I ended up on the corporate grind. The next few years were spent working for a major supermarket chain, a health store, and in a hardware store.
Thoroughly disillusioned with the corporate world, my partner, Denny, and I decided to take a sideways step out of the system. We moved to the beautiful Peloponnese, bought a house in the mountains, and continue to live the simple life. Here, amongst the unique wildlife and wonderful people, I seek inspiration from the muses. Days are spent writing, enjoying Greek food and Ouzo, and attempting to murder the Greek language.
