From an early age, Dorian has written for the love of it. She started writing short stories and poems while in elementary school. By her last year in middle school, she started writing full length novels. Ideas would fly to her and her computer keys would passionately capture everything. A natural artist, she would doodle rough sketches of her character so she could visualize them. In college, she started editing her old manuscripts. Dorian inherited her talent for writing from her mother who has written 130 books and manuscripts. Recently, Dorian's alma mater, Wake Forest University, awarded her with Best Senior Orator for a speech written for the 2008 commencement. She has been published as a ghostwriter for several websites and then again for newsletters for Towson University, where she attended graduate school for two years pursuing a Master’s degree in Experimental Psychology. She plans to help her mother continue to publish the the Legend of the Black Rose series. With a personal love of studying the spiritual world, she has written several books that delve into the relation of God, angels and humans. She has written three books about minorities chosen to fulfill a prophecy and destined to become angels of life, love and truth in a dark world. The trilogy is called Angelic Heroes which includes the following: Book of Omni, Child of Light and Mount of Truth. The books depict strong female minorities as the lead characters. Though suitable for all ages, the trilogy is intended for teenagers and young adults who are interested in spirituality and fantasy.
