London, United Kingdom Email: jennycampion@aol.com First and foremost I see myself as a fiction writer. I have had numerous short stories published over the past years in women's magazines and newspapers and over a year ago I began my first novel. Unfortunately, circumstances changed and I am now in a situation where I need to make a full time living for myself. The novel has been designated to the 'back burner'but I haven't given up on writing as a means to making a living. 8 months ago I, through the encouragement of a friend, began to work as a freelancer, selling relaton-ship based pieces and articles in general to newspaper and magazines. Not having had a journalistic background it has been quite difficult. I don't have influential contacts and I have to find all my own ideas, but still, I am determined to make a success of it, so that hopefully I can earn enough to maybe take three months off at a later stage and finish my novel. My book I would describe as a psychological thriller and I can't wait to get back to it, despite not working on it at the moment it is still 'living' on in my mind and I feel that's a really good sign and reason enough to finish it. I would love to hear from other aspiring novelists or indeed anyone who enjoys writing.
