I'm basically an IT professional, but my interest had always been 'words'. However, in India one cannot have livelihood with literary pursuit alone.

I began writing short stories even when I was studying in school. First published in 1973 in Shanker’s Weekly Thereafter, many of my short stories have appeared in leading English magazines/newspapers in India. A collection of my short stories titled "The Curse And Other Tales" was brought out by McGraw Publishing Inc., Texas, USA, in November 2000. One of my short stories was also included in the WritersNet Anthology of Prose published in 2002.

I have also completed a novel titled "In The Land of Snake Gods".

Interests: I am interested in classical English novels. In my leisure time I write short stories with a humourous touch.
