This writer continues to write even after she's vowed, for the umpteenth time, to never pen another single, solitary word as long as she lives. It's in the blood. There's no turning back. Armed with a bachelor's degree in journalism from Ohio University, fifteen years were spent working as a newspaper journalist (reporter at large; editor; photographer; columnist) who specialized in feature writing and covered the court beat--murder trials being her assignment of choice. The past 10 years have been devoted to freelance writing. Her fiction has appeared in Star Magazine, True Love, True Romance and True Experience magazines. She has worked as a contract writer for a teen pregnancy prevention project and Family and Children First Council and was the writer for a domestic violence agency, where she also served as a court advocate. Three of her nonfiction stories will appear in the 2002 editions of Chocolate for a Woman's Soul and Chocolate for a Teen's Soul and her fiction will appear in the April edition of WriterOnline. When she's not writing, she's doing yoga, tap dancing and (trying) to raise kids.
