Deondriea Cantrice is a student of the human condition, wielding the written craft to captivate the mind much like an artist wields a brush. The pages are a blank canvas on which to draw from a talent heralded by many and matched only by an imagination that rises to the task. For Deondriea, writing started as a way to improve her penmanship. It promptly advanced into a passion and expression of her active imagination and inner thoughts.

Deondriea sharpened her literary skills by writing newsletters, penning poetry, short stories, developing program curriculum, and crafting Rhythm Can't Keep Time, Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough her first fiction book, published in 2008. Rhythm Cant Keep Time is the first in a series of recent pursuits for her, with work progressing quickly on the horizon. When Emotions Lie is Deondriea's sophomore book was released in 2010.

Deondriea earned her Bachelors degree in Communication; with an emphasis in Conflict Management and a minor in Psychology from Regis University in 2008, with plans to pursue a Graduate degree in 2010. Deondriea uses education and her life experience to develop characters and storylines that engage both men and women.

Deondriea aspires to entertain, educate, and inspire her readers with tales of true life. She greets everyone with a smile and aim to have a positive impact on everyone she encounters through effective communication, veracity, and affirmative interaction. Deondriea believes, with direction and discipline, accomplishment is attainable.
