Roger Nelson was born and raised in Northeastern Minnesota. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and traveler. He retired in 1992, after thirty-six years with the same large corporation. Twenty-one of those years were in numerous management positions. He has managed groups of subordinates as small as five and as large as twenty three hundred.
He moved to Central Florida in 1996 with a plan to play more golf and enjoy his retirement. He discontinued playing golf to allow time for the new love of his life, writing. He presently has completed two works of fiction and one “how to” non-fiction book on management principles necessary to successfully supervise subordinates.
When you read his work, you will notice a heavy emphasis on “integrity” and the distinct lack of offensive language. He formed the Nelson Publishing Company in 2000. He resides in Central Florida with his wife, Peggy.
