Home page:

I've been a writer since I was able to grasp a pencil in my hand. I specialize in translating big chunks of complex information into bite-sized, easy-to-read articles and ad copy.

My greatest writing mentors were my dad and my 7th grade science teacher. Dad, a college professor, taught me how to research, format and fine-tune essays and reports (back when cut-and-paste meant getting out the scissors and tape). My science teacher, who had worked at NASA, instilled a sense of wonder about technology and emphasized careful observation and accurate reporting. Both influenced my choice of the communications profession and my lifelong interest in technologies that make it possible for people to learn, connect and create.

I founded my freelance business, Imagination Ink Business Writing and Public Relations, in 1994. My work has appeared in Forbes, American Legacy and The Wall Street Journal. I also write newsletters and promotional materials for medical colleges and health care providers.

Clear communication can solve many problems and it can create unlimited new opportunities. I invite you to view my portfolio at to learn more.
