I have difficulty explaining myself in detail. But I can say the following: I am a U.S. Coast Guard Helicopter Rescue Swimmer, Father, Husband, writer, outdoorsman, artist and, above all else, a collector of life experinces.
I write using my vivid imagination combined with pieces of life experinces. The adrenaline junkie within provides numerous sources of raw material.
I have had the opprotunity to participate in the countless rescues, the infamous Am Track wreck in Mobile and migrant rescues in the straights of Florida. I even flew into the perfect storm to look for the missing PJ portrayed in the movie.
On a more personnal note it would be safe to say I love to participate in the politiclly incorrect sport of hunting. I see nature in it's rawest form. My perspective on life is strongly grounded in the daily struggle of life and death.
I hope to progress beyond the crawling stage of writing into a full fledged published authorship. I am starved for useful feedback on my works in order to begin my second career on two solid feet.
I am waiting on feedback from one agent in perticular. But if I cannot sway her to take me on as a client I will be persuing representation elsewhere. Please feel free to contact me for a sample of my work.
I have been published in numerous interagency publications and have entered the Authorlink.Com writing contest for new writers.
