Married, white, middle-aged male. I don't know why I'm doing this because I have little faith that anything I write will ever go into print. My lovely wife is supportive of my efforts but little understands the unlikely prospect of an unknown every seeing a dime from their efforts. Frankly, I don't care if I ever make any money.

I write because I am compelled to do so from a place I cannot describe. I am told that some of what I write is good. I'm sure that is because someone agrees with me. What I write for is to try and transport the reader to a place that they have never visited before. I hope that they feel the same emotion I do as I write. At times, my desire is to provide a different perspective so that the reader will change, hopefully for the better.

I wouldn't have the first inkling on how to get an audience outside of the one I now have, in my blog. I have written some short stories about my life in the Southern United States during the blissful youth of innocence - one of 76 million baby boomers.

I have nothing more to say.

Interests: In relation to writing? Commentary. Satirizing my suburban environs.
