Ashley King

I am 23 years old, living in North Carolina and attending University. While my degree is in Environmental Studies, I dream of pursuing a career as a novelist. My stories often deal with characters my own age, most often faced with something so far out of the ordinary that the only answer is the supernatural.

Currently, I am writing my first full length novel. It follows Pandora Brandon, a young woman in a psychiatric ward. Having recently finished the novel, I'm looking around for agents and working on the second book in the series.

Interests: I thoroughly enjoy reading and writing fiction, particularly historical fiction. My favorite authors include Philipa Gregory, Stephenie Meyer, Anne Rice, J.K. Rowling, and J.R.R. Tolkein.
