I was born September 29, 1949 at Memphis Tennessee. I grew up in the Longview, Texas area. In 1968 I graduated from Hallsville (tx) High School. I attended and graduated from East Texas State University in 1972. (ETSU has since been renamed Texas A&M Commerce) In 1972 I enlisted in the US Army and was trained in the area of personnel. I was discharged in 1986. Since 1989 I have been employed as a Correctional Officer at Southern correctional Institute.
I am married to Claudia (25 years). I have 4 adult children from a previous marriage and have 7 grandchildren. Interests: reading, astronomy, science, history volunteer work sports
